It's a great place to get to know the client and make them feel comfortable in front of the camera. Getting the couple comfortable is key. When that happens, the magic begins, those kisses, warm hugs and intimate moments are captured through the lens. I begin by trying to understand what the customer is after both in terms of the photo-shoot experience and the final images they will be receiving. As I'm photographing I try to be positive, flexible and respectful. With film taking a good picture was the hard part, with digital the pictures come fast and easy and the emphasis shifts towards creating an atmosphere that lets the subjects be themselves and really shine.
