We embrace many fait...Read moreAll Souls Church welcomes you to hold your wedding ceremony in our Sanctuary. With its cathedral ceiling and stone exterior, our church provides a dramatic yet peaceful setting. We embrace many faiths and lifestyle choices; we support the marriage of couples of different religions. You do not have to be a member of our congregation to use our Sanctuary. You may use your own officiant or arrange for the services of our minister, Reverend Steve Wilson. (His services are arranged separately from the sanctuary rental)
The fee for use of our sanctuary for Weddings is $400. This includes a $100 fee payable to our Sexton who will arrange to have the building open and ready for use at the appointed time and will secure it after the ceremony. It also includes one rehearsal prior to the ceremony if needed. A deposit is required and payment in full must be made no later than one week before the event.

The building has a handicap accessible entrance with ramp on the right hand side of the building. We have two restrooms, one of which is gender-neutral and ADA compliant with a baby changing station. There is a small parking lot behind the church on Charles Street. We have a meeting room that can be used for 'getting ready'.
Our parish hall (pictured below) is available for receptions, private parties and events. We also host concerts and coffee hours.
We have a licensed commercial kitchen on site. Outside caterers must be licensed with the town of Braintree by town law. Serving Liquor requires the use of a licensed bartender and prior approval from All Souls Church must be obtained.
Fees for wedding reception require the rental of the hall and kitchen at $100 per hour with a two-hour minimum.

Whether for a wedding or an anniversary dinner, a business seminar or holiday party, your guests will be charmed and impressed by the blending of art and architecture, history and modernity, beauty and function, culture and spirit that is so dramatically represented within our walls.
Rental customers have a choice of settings to match their type of event. Our flexible-use Auditorium can accommodate business meetings, formal dinners, lectures, seminars, and parties. The Auditorium has excellent musical acoustics and a resident Steinway baby grand piano, providing a marvelous arena for recitals and small audience performances. It’s also a perfect venue for yoga classes, meditation retreats, and other events requiring a quiet, enclosed space.
Our Russian Tea Room offers a charming setting for receptions or intimate dining set amid antique samovars, 19th century jail cells, and changeable colored ceiling lights. Smaller gatherings can be hosted in the Library, or on our elegant Roof Terrace. Both the Library and the Auditorium offer a full spectrum of audio-visual amenities, and caterers love our large prep kitchen adjacent to the Auditorium and Tea Room.
Weddings are especially unique at the Museum of Russian Icons! An aura of hushed contemplation perfectly complements a sacred ceremony, while the vibrant colors highlight the joy of the occasion. Guest may dine in our spacious Galleries, surrounded by centuries-old art, then dance in the sleekly modern Auditorium and Tea Room. The striking contrast of styles, colors, and atmospheres creates an experience you and your guests will remember for years to come.
Auditorium and Library rentals can be scheduled when the Museum is open to the public, or after-hours, when guests can also enjoy private access to the Galleries, Roof Terrace, and Russian Tea Room.
