The $150/hour rate applies to groups of up to 30 guests Monday to Thursday evening and Saturday and Sunday until 6pm. For larger groups and weekend evening events we provide custom rates with 24 hours of receiving a request.

Big Door Studio’s modern loft space boasts an attractive range of clean, distinctive looks from one area to the next. Big Door Studio’s 9,000 sq’ event space is centrally located a half mile from the beach in El Segundo. Convenient to LAX, the West Side and the 105 freeway. Recently remolded, this space features 3,000 sq’ of deep polished cement floors in the great hall, with an 18' high exposed ceiling, industrial fans, retro steel pendant lights and all supported by industrial era exposed metal beams. Adjacent to the great hall is a fully functional modern kitchen for all your cooking needs. To add a unique studio experience to any event, we have a 50’ x 35' fully functioning television stage, along with an HD projector for presentations, creative viewing or a movie. A 2,000 sq’ open flex room with copper stained cement floors can offer a variety of uses, as can our gated outdoor lot. Finally, if it’s a wedding or fashion show, we have a fully equipped make-up room with two stations and a dressing room.
Your booking comes with audio/visual equipment, functional and stylish furniture, tables and chairs, a helpful staff, super fast wi-fi, and dozens of additional amenities. Plus, our all inclusive single pricing with no up charges or a corkage fee will result in big savings.

Our Standard event package pricing includes all the rooms for a flat rate of $5,250 for a 12-hour day. With this rate we provide a lot of useful items and we do not charge a corkage fee if you choose your own caterer, food truck, or event vendors. Your rental comes with 10 high-top tables,10 folding tables, 50 folding chairs, coolers, access to our kitchen with a separate client fridge, oven, and microwave. Black linens can be provided for any tables of ours that you use.
Mid event:
Our Mid Event Package pricing includes all the rooms for a flat rate of $3,500 for a 6 hours day for a headcount 75 guests & under.
Mini Event:
Our Weekday Mini Event Package pricing includes all the rooms for a flat rate of $2,100 for a 6 hours day for a headcount of 35 guests & under.

Unique themed programs offer a wide array of individual options ranging from a “Pizza Farm†with hands on party activities that has children growing pizza toppings and can bring home freshly grown herbs and vegetables to a more adventurous activity with gemstone mining. There are hayrides and an animal farm with an on site docent that explains the importance of both farming and good nutrition.
The latest craze is the “Adventure Agriculture†theme. This tour takes the group to the animal farm, allowing hands on interaction with farm type animals. They explain and demonstrate the care and maintenance from feeding to composting while another group enters the gemstone mining camp where every child has an opportunity to mine for gems while they collect the minerals to use to mix with the compost. After they have collected the necessary elements to sustain plant life, the children actually board onto a tractor drawn wagon to tour the farm and it’s acreage of fruits and vegetables. At the conclusion of the tour, all children plant a Tomato plant using the mix they collected to take home.
