We've been at this for 20 years. It started out making the dances perfect at youth camps we went to as teenagers. Then it progressed to being event DJs around campus during our college days. Since then, we've been DJs for weddings, events, and parties on a regular basis.
We have a Peavy mixer amp with great speakers and a huge collection of music. We discuss music preferences before the event and can get a list of favorite songs to make sure they get played, and we have a microphone and can make announcements as needed. We take song requests during events and try to work these in with other song requests and the great songs we already have with us.
The only stage and setup requirements are that we need a steady source of electricity and a way to shelter the equipment if we're outside.
